Drie mensen die in een appartement wonen, vermoeden dat hun teruggetrokken buurman een seriemoordenaar is. Ze breken in zijn appartement en stuiten daar op een fortuin aan gestolen kunst. Ze worden betrapt en hun ontdekking verandert in een nachtmerrie als de buurman komt te overlijden. Daarna raakt het drietal verstrikt in een sadistisch overlevingsspel als ze met het fortuin trachten weg te komen.
